About the role:
Reporting directly to the P2 Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Process Development Engineer (packaging) will:
1. Lead new packaging product introductions to P2 at TILGC.
2. Be a subject matter expert (SME) for packaging equipment and packaging systems.
3. Support secondary packaging operations at P2 TILGC.
4. Work fully onsite.
How you will contribute:
1. Lead Feasibility assessments for new packaging formats and new equipment.
2. Technical Review of Artwork and Packaging.
3. Lead optimisation and process validation studies.
4. Parameter optimisation for vision systems, equipment and serialisation systems.
5. Understand regulatory requirements & communicate them to the project teams.
6. Lead Capital Projects for equipment introduction.
7. Lead Root Cause Analysis for Packaging Processes.
8. Experience controlling change controls on Trackwise.
9. Experience of Packaging Equipment and of Vision Systems.
10. Liaise with QC, QA, CAPEX Team, Logistics, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to ensure adherence to schedule and efficient troubleshooting.
11. Provide technical direction to manufacturing personnel.
12. Participate in problem identification and change plans in cooperation with other teams.
13. Investigate quality events and prepare deviation reports using site Trackwise system.
14. Complete required documentation relating to development and manufacturing activities accurately.

7. Perform all operations following TILGC quality standards, GWPs, cGMPs and all other relevant policies, procedures, regulations and standards including Health & Safety and Environmental (HSE) Legislation.
8. Other tasks directed by the Manager, Finance or other Officer appointed by the Board of Directors.
What you bring to Takeda:
1. 3rd Level Degree in Engineering or other relevant courses.
2. Minimum 3 years experience in Pharma Manufacturing.
3. Experience of Secondary Packaging systems.
4. Experience of Primary Packaging Systems beneficial.
5. Experience of Vision Systems beneficial.
6. Experience of Serialisation Systems beneficial.
7. Excellent planning, scheduling and prioritisation ability.
8. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products and systems skills.
9. Safety focused.
