We are now seeking a Wedding & Events Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and detail-oriented professional to play a key role in growing our wedding and events business.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Wedding & Events Executive will be responsible for wedding and event sales, client relationship management, and coordination on the day of events to ensure flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
Wedding & Event Sales:
1. Respond to wedding and event inquiries promptly and professionally.
2. Conduct showarounds, showcasing the hotel’s event spaces and facilities.
3. Convert leads into bookings by creating tailored proposals and packages.
4. Maintain strong relationships with past, current, and potential clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
5. Work with the marketing team to promote wedding and event offerings through social media, website content, and promotional campaigns.
6. Assist in achieving revenue targets by actively upselling packages and services.
Event Coordination & Execution:
1. Act as the main point of contact for wedding couples and event clients from booking to event day.
2. Coordinate all event details, including liaising with internal departments (kitchen, front office, banqueting) and external suppliers.
3. Ensure seamless execution of weddings and events by being present on the day, overseeing setup, and troubleshooting any issues.
4. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all clients and guests have a memorable experience.
Administrative & Reporting Duties:
1. Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and event details.
2. Generate event function sheets and communicate details to relevant teams.
3. Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
4. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance The Heights Hotel’s wedding and event services.
Who You Are:
1. Experience: 2+ years in a wedding, events, or hospitality sales role.
