The Position
The objective of this position is to give the holder the diversity of opportunity in a dynamic pharmaceutical organisation. It aims to provide the candidate with a multi-disciplinary appreciation of careers within Engineering and experience of the pharmaceutical sector. The opportunity will be fixed term (24 months) in duration and will consist of a role within our Engineering function with rotations across the Engineering group in areas capital projects and maintenance.
Among your main responsibilities will be:
1. Timely planning and proper execution of projects.
2. Defining project scope, goals, expected deliverables, stakeholder mapping, estimated cost and timeline for low complexity projects.
3. Completing the project according to plan, securing adequate communication to direct internal and external stakeholders. Sharing learnings with immediate team.
4. Supporting the day to day running and upkeep of utility systems with current Maintenance Best Practices mindset.
5. Introduction/Promotion of Reliability Cantered Maintenance activities.
6. Supporting to Equipment Breakdowns, identification of Failure Root Cause and implementation of Fixes/Upgrades.
Qualifications
1. Degree level in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline to Honours level (if completing degree May/June 2025 results to date should reflect working towards honours grade).
2. Previous contact with the pharmaceutical sector will be a plus.
3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Strong organisational and planning skills.
5. Proven competency and reliability and flexibility.
6. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
