Summary of duties and required experience:The suitable candidate supports the Test Development Operations group on a 3-cycle shift basis. Responsible for performing electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning electromechanical equipment used in the Test Development process.Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications: Building towards bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 7) or Honours Bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 8). And 1-2 years' experience.Primary technician support for the Development Operations group on a 3-cycle shift basis.Repair and maintain all equipment used in production/development test including Teradyne mixed-signal testers (Microflex and Ultra Flex), NI, SPEA and ROOS test platforms. P8/12 probers and Multitest Handlers. Experience of these systems would be beneficial but not essential.Perform handler kit changeovers and tester/handler setups as required.Debug hardware down to board and component level using diagnostic programs.Work on process improvement projects.Document all repairs, maintenance, and changes to equipment using a maintenance software package.Logical Approach to problem solving and decision-making including Root Cause analysisSelf-motivated and works on own initiative.Take responsibility for completion and handover of work.Good interpersonal and communication skills inclusive of written documentation.Good planning and project management skillsPerform Planned and Unplanned maintenance activities.For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
