Opportunity
This is an exciting chance for a Senior Utilities Project Manager to join our client, a pioneering pharmaceutical organization making long-term and significant investments to develop their existing Irish facility, increasing capacity and enhancing its production capabilities. As a global leader in treating haemophilia disorders and diabetes, our client is transforming their established midlands site with a comprehensive retrofit and multiple upgrades across its campus.
Job Description
As a vital member of our Engineering Project Team, you’ll report directly to the Director of Engineering. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering key campaigns across our facility, navigating complex challenges with your exceptional communication and influencing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Engineering Consultants onsite and oversee Vendor Delivery to meet targeted objectives.
* Support delivery of full Program Of Works from Concept Design through to Installation.
* Oversee Project Delivery, Budget Management, and ensure all teams are fully resourced.
* Monitor Progress and Performance against Key Metrics.
* Resolve Cross-Functional issues to minimize impact on Schedules.
* Manage Project Costings, Scope Of Works, Scheduling, and Change Controls.
* Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to achieve Project Milestones and Objectives.
What You Will Bring:
* Proven Engineering expertise and a demonstrable track record of success in Project Delivery - preferably on Large Scale Biologic/Biopharma related Capital Projects.
* Previous projects experience involving retrofit, development, and upgrading of brownfield Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities/sites in live manufacturing environments.
* Proven track record in Managing EPCMV Consultants/Sub-Project Teams from Design stage through to Operational Handover.
* Exceptional Communication and Influencing Skills.
* 10+ years’ experience in GMP Project Design and Build Projects Environment.
* Third-Level Qualifications in an Engineering/Technical/Science related discipline.
* Ideally hold Project Management Certification.
* Collaborative, Effective Communicator, and Autonomous Self-Starter.
* Experienced in Engaging with Cross-Functional Engineering and Construction/Vendor Supplier Teams in Delivery of Key Project Milestones in conjunction with the Project Team.
