Technical Business Development Manager - Clare

Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and manage key account relationships in County Clare, Republic of Ireland.
Core Responsibilities:
* Achieve sales targets and personal objectives set by the Managing Director.
* Identify and target potential clients, build relationships, and proactively network.
* Conduct market, competitor, and sector analysis on a regular basis.
* Hold regular communication meetings with project team members throughout the process.
* Proactively work on the project pipeline.
* Submit regular sales reports to the Managing Director.
* Ensure bid information is accurate and commercial solutions can be delivered at agreed margins.
* FOLLOW BUSINESS PROCESS FOR NEW CONTRACT SET-UPS.
* Ensure a seamless handover to Operations.
* Travel to trade shows.
* Present to new and existing customers.
Requirements:
* Expert knowledge of the sub-contract engineering industry, specifically precision CNC machining.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop compelling proposals.
* Excellent PC and organisational skills, including report production, interpretation, and analysis, presentation preparation, and tender document creation.
* Experience in various aspects of manufacturing industry, including Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Production Management, Project Management, Site Management, Resource Planning, and Scheduling.
* Proven ability to work to targets and KPIs.
* Strong solutions sales experience.
