The UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering has a long and distinguished track record of achievement.
The School delivers an undergraduate programme in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering (originally established as Chemical Engineering in 1952), accredited by the IChemE and Engineers Ireland, as well as taught Master's programmes in Chemical Engineering and in Biopharmaceutical Engineering and is host to a vibrant graduate research programme.
Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Bioprocessing/Biomanufacturing.
The areas of expertise that would be suitable for this post include, but are not limited to: biopharmaceutical engineering and production, bioprocessing, circular bioeconomy, sustainable protein manufacturing, biological wastewater treatment.
The successful candidate will be expected to establish an international reputation in their area of research; to contribute to lecturing and project supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to participate in administration within the School.
95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above the Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €62,855 - €99,533 Per Annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
