Join our Supply Manufacturing Team @ St. James Gate
We are looking for a Process Operator to join our Beer operations team in St James Gate. Our Beer category is made up of approximately 400 employees engaged in roles across St James's Gate, Belfast Packaging and Runcorn Packaging.
About the role:
As a Process Operator, you will work as part of our core team responsible for delivering a range of tasks associated with operations within the manufacture of our products to the highest quality to agreed customer service levels, in a safe and efficient manner.
Health and safety compliance is key; you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is supervised alongside environmental and food safety standards and ensuring Key Performance Indicators and targets are met.
Main duties within the role will be to:
* Understand the functions, working within the cross-functional teams of the brewery.
* Collection and management of samples within the brewing department.
* Carry out quality analyses relevant to the role, and ensure quality is right first time and all data input.
* Apply Manufacturing Excellence tools and techniques.
* Apply Good Laboratory Practices within the Main Laboratory.
About you
This role requires a proactive approach. You’ll work closely with stakeholders in our brewing operations, planning and logistics teams to ensure that any risks to our customer service are mitigated; being a good communicator is important. You’ll use your analytical mindset to support in root cause problem solving (RCPS) where required. Through a suite of manufacturing excellence tools, we strive to achieve premier standards, and you’ll support us on our continuous improvement journey by identifying and undertaking projects in your area.
