Search Talent are proud to be working with a successful Global FinTech Payments company who are looking for a Head of Compliance to lead their Irish operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering obligations, serving as the primary contact for the Central Bank of Ireland (CBOI) and external regulatory bodies. This PCF-12 & PCF-52 role advises the Board and Senior Management on regulatory changes, ensuring compliance best practices across operations in Ireland and into Europe.Key Responsibilities:Act as the subject matter expert on CBOI regulations, maintaining compliance frameworks, procedures, and internal knowledge sharing.Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, implementing compliance monitoring, reporting, and control enhancements.Serve as the liaison with CBOI, law enforcement, and partner processors, managing regulatory relationships and filings.Provide strategic compliance advice to the Board and Senior Management, producing regular reports and updates on legislative changes.Oversee financial crime compliance, including monitoring suspicious transactions, reviewing sanctions/PEP alerts, and reporting to authorities as needed.Design and deliver regulatory training to employees at all levels.Skills & Experience:Strong regulatory expertise, particularly with CBOI rules on electronic money and payments.Proven experience in a compliance leadership role within financial services, ideally in payments.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.Compliance or related qualification preferred; prior PCF approval is an advantage.Salary & Benefits:Strong base salary depending on experience plus additional bonus.
