Site Manager/Supervisor
Join Occupli in this role where you’ll be part of the Project Delivery with responsibility for site supervision of utility scale solar farm project. Your role will include leading health and safety initiatives on site and duties relating to the Project Supervisor Construction Stage role. You’ll interface with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders as well as work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Contract Type: Short term contract
Role duties include:
* First person on-site in the morning to open up & last person to leave & lock up in the evening.
* Managing contractors on site to oversee daily activities on solar farm project site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality, and project specifications.
* Implementing, maintaining, and enforcing good on-site QSHE practices.
* Maintaining and updating accurate and up-to-date site records and documentation.
* Issuing & recording toolbox talks.
* Compliance auditing & associated KPI’s.
* Completing daily Job Site Safety Plans (JSSP).
* Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and contractors while ensuring project targets are on schedule.
* Reporting to PM /OM on all site-related construction activities, reviewing deliveries, providing on-site records to POD’s.
* Monitoring site activities and contractor progress to ensure project programme and risk are properly managed.
* Ensuring QC is complete on-site & maintained by the various sub-contractors.
* Ensuring Statutory checks are complete on all Plant & Equipment.
Requirements:
* Strong cultural belief in safety and 2-3 years’ experience in a related role (Construction experience) with site experience in utility / construction scale projects.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Ability to lead contractors on site to a high level of performance.
* Understanding of the PSDP/PSCS or CDMC processes and construction regulations.
* Ability to work with multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
* Driven to meet deliverables on target with attention to detail and an understanding of the technical and regulatory requirements to deliver renewable energy projects.
* Safe Pass & Manual Handling certifications up to date.
