Head Bar Tender with Cocktail Experience Job Summary: Showcase bar & service skills with a new brand. As Head Bar Tender, you'll recruit, train, and supervise bar team members, provide exceptional customer service, and oversee beverage preparation and serving.
Responsibilities:
* Recruit, train, and supervise bar team members.
* Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for bar team members.
* Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to customers.
* Address customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
* Oversee preparation and serving of beverages, including cocktails and coffees.
* Create and update drink menus.
* Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
* Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
* Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and complies with health and safety regulations.
* Assist with food service when necessary.
* Upsell food & beverage and cross-sell across the hotel and group.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum 1 year's experience in a busy bar in a supervisory or management role.
* Mixologist/cocktail experience is essential.
* Previous experience in a cocktail bar or 4/5* hotel is a distinct advantage.
* Available to work up to full time hours is essential.
* Available for evenings and weekends is essential.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Leadership and team management abilities.
* Reliable, dedicated and passionate about delivering high levels of service.
