Data Centre Service Contract Manager
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the service contracts for two Data Centres in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
* Develop a good working relationship with staff and the Data Centre Owner
* Main point of contact for all mechanical requirements
* Utilise CMMS to create work orders for tasks carried out on site
* Update all site mechanical and controls procedures, including EOPs, SOPs & MOPs
* Approve documentation (mechanical/controls systems) prior to works starting on site
* Carry out QA on all vendor works completed on site relating to Mechanical systems
* Detailed root cause analysis & post-mortem reports on equipment failures
* Ensure all spares relating to the Mechanical & Data Centre systems are in place
* Point of contact for the shift team to support Data Centre escalation procedures
* Evaluate Emergency classification & notifications for accuracy & completeness
* Drive site wide energy efficiency through innovations, extra works & projects
* Collaborate with the Technical Manager to review subcontractor maintenance contracts
* Participate in subcontractor review meetings & input into vendor scorecards
* Provide site specific Mechanical systems training to the Mechanical team
* Maintain the site syllabus & training curriculum up to date
* Develop Mechanical examination questions & perform scenarios as part of site specific training program
* Liaise with peers to ensure compliance with client standards & best practice
* Report health and safety breaches through the HAZARD process
* Promote a professional image to clients and visitors at all times
* Ensure a Safe and Healthy working environment
* Contribute to technical staff management, development, & appraisal
* Assist in the recruitment of new staff by providing technical assessment or all new candidates interviewing to join the team on site
The ideal candidate:
* Trade level and/or degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Familiarity with Data Centres mechanical & control systems, including generators, fuel systems, air handling units, fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, building management systems
* Experience of automatic control equipment, including relay logic, programmable logic controllers, building management systems and their integration with Data Centre infrastructure
* Team building, people management & coaching skills
Remuneration:
The salary range is €70k - €80k and will reflect the experience levels of the candidate. A company car is provided, along with a pension scheme, laptop, phone etc.
