Main Responsibilities:
* Advise on obligations under GDPR and other relevant European data protection laws, including the DSA, Data Act, and AI Act.
* Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments and reviews of services and upgrades.
* Identify and assess privacy risks, developing and monitoring mitigation plans.
* Develop, implement, and maintain privacy steering documents, processes, guidelines, and tools.
* Support handling requests from data subjects.
* Manage privacy assets, including data processing agreements and privacy assessments.
* Maintain records of processing and data inventories.
* Participate in privacy-related projects, initiatives, and assignments.
* Stay informed about threat landscapes, market practices, regulations, legal practices, authority views, and incidents/breaches related to privacy.
Requirements:
* 1-3 years of experience in data protection/privacy within the EU/EEA.
* Master's or bachelor's degree in law (or a related field supported by legal studies or working experience) or computer science.
* Knowledge of GDPR requirements and practical implementation.
* Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
* An independent, result-oriented approach with strong business acumen and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
* The capacity to multitask, set priorities based on risks, and manage conflicting deadlines.
* Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to create well-written, easy-to-understand documents and presentations.
* A strong interest in learning and developing in the field of data protection/privacy.
* CIPP/E certification or other certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), as well as previous experience in consumer internet or mobile service/app industries, are considered beneficial.
A valid full-time right to work in Ireland is required for this position.
