We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Buyer to join our growing Procurement team in Apleona Head Office.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Work closely with the Category Manager to source highest quality products and services at the best price.
* Assist in the preparation and issuing of tenders and Framework tenders as required.
* Purchase in line with set processes and use the organisation's purchasing system.
* Manage supplier performance to ensure quality and service requirements are met.
* Operate the Request for quotation process for On demand purchasing.
* Maintain Procurement catalogues and deal with internal customer queries.
* Manage any invoice verification with regard to price.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Procurement or Business related Discipline.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Ability to meet customer requirements continuously.
* An ability to deal with customers and vendors in a professional manner.
