Job Summary:
A highly skilled and passionate Chef de Partie is required to join the culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes to the highest standard.
Main Responsibilities:
* Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to consistently meet the restaurant's high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
* Section Management: Oversee a specific section (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry) to ensure efficient and timely delivery of dishes during service.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen team to maintain smooth operations and high-quality food production.
* Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels for your section to prevent waste and ensure ingredients are ordered on time.
* Compliance: Maintain adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations by keeping a clean and organized workspace.
* Training and Mentoring: Assist in training and developing junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
* Menu Development: Participate in menu planning and development, contributing ideas for new dishes and improvements.
