This is a hybrid role, 3 days wfh and 2 in the office.
A car is required to get to the office.
Hours 9am-5pm (with some flexibility).
The purpose of the Assistant Accountant is to provide professional support to the CFO in all areas of the Organisation's entities accounts and finances.
Qualification/Experience required:Part Qualified Accountant, Accounts Technician or Business DegreeGood technical financial accounting skillsGood analytical and problem solving abilityWorking knowledge of cloud based financial systems (e.g., iplicit/netsuite/Accounts IQ)Strong end user computing skills, strong excelMin 3 years experience in a similar roleA full clean driving licenseDesirableExperience in the non profit, charity sectorKnowledge of SORP 2015 FRS 102Experience within a volunteer setting, either as a volunteer or working with/managing volunteersExperience working under an AccountantGeneralAbility to work on own initiativeCompetent writing skillsHighly motivated and ability to manage deadlinesFlexibleAssist with the preparation of the audit files for the organisations entitiesCompletion of various grant applicationsCompleting rebatesMust be able to learn new systems quicklyKey ResponsibilitiesManage the accounts payable, purchase order and cash receipts functionCompletion of the organisations bank reconciliationsMaintain various company registers including the fixed asset register and contracts registerAssist with the production of the organisations monthly management accounts to strict deadlinesAssist with the preparation of the audit files for the organisations entitiesCompletion of various grant applicationsCompleting rebatesA competitive salary is offered for this role, c €45k.
