We are currently seeking a dedicated Reservations Agent to join our team at Sheen Falls Lodge. In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering a five-star experience, responsible for upselling and managing guest room reservations to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
1. First Point of Contact: As the initial touchpoint for our guests, you will expertly communicate available options, rates, and itineraries, ensuring a seamless and personalized booking experience.
2. Reservation Management: Convert all inquiries into confirmed bookings while maintaining and updating our reservations system (Hotsoft).
3. Rate Management: Manage and distribute rates effectively through our Channel Manager (D-Edge), ensuring optimal pricing and availability.
4. Customer Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our guests, providing exceptional service and attention to detail at all times.
Qualifications
1. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position within a 5-star hotel environment.
2. Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of booking systems and CRM software is essential. Familiarity with the Hotsoft booking system is highly desirable.
3. Language Proficiency: Must be a fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Working Hours: You will work 5 shifts over a 7-day period, including Saturdays and bank holidays (shared amongst the team).
