Job Description:
We are seeking a Team Leader to oversee inspection processes and lead a high-performing team in a regulated, low-volume, high-complexity production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Purchased Material Inspection team to achieve daily output targets while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
* Oversee inspection activities for components and mechatronics, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and lot inspections.
* Manage stock purges and ensure timely resolution to minimise disruption to manufacturing.
* Act as the first point of escalation for issues, using team resources to resolve problems efficiently.
* Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team culture, promoting quality and process improvement.
* Implement schedules, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing practices and standards.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
* Education: A degree (QQI Level 8) in Quality Management, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Expertise: Strong background in quality inspection activities, problem-solving, and process control in a regulated environment.
* Skills:
o Advanced knowledge of inspection methodologies, including PCBA visual inspection, precision measurement, and inspection of moulded and machined plastics.
o Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
o Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results under tight deadlines.
