Our Client
With over 20 years experience in accommodation centres our client has 4 locations in Co Kerry and Co Cork. This role is to support all 4 sites with their HIQA standards. There is flexibility to work 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
HIQA Compliance Management:
* Stay abreast of all current and upcoming HIQA regulations and guidelines
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HIQA standards
* Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to address deficiencies.
Administrative Leadership:
* Oversee and manage the administrative functions within the Centres
* Provide guidance to centre managers fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency
Training and Development:
* Develop and deliver training for staff to ensure awareness and adherence to HIQA standards
* Keep centre managers and managing directors informed about changes in regulations and best practises through regular communication and training sessions.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
* Establish and maintain a comprehensive record-keeping system to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
* Work closely with centre managers to ensure all required information is relayed back to you efficiently to ensure documentation is complete, accurate and easily accessible.
Reporting and Communication:
* Prepare and submit regular reports to Managing Directors on HIQA compliance status, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
* Act as liaison between the organisation and HIQA, ensuring open communication and addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
