Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager to join our team in Nass, County Kildare. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analysing and optimizing the Supply Chain.
* Material planning and management.
* Purchasing and following up on materials, subcontractors, and services.
* General administration of purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, and other relevant processes.
* Liaising with suppliers and visiting their facilities as necessary.
* Collaborating with internal and external parties.
* Processing complaints and resolving issues.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a purchasing role, preferably in an Engineering company.
* A recognised qualification in a related discipline.
* Experience working in Engineering/manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
* Strong negotiation, IT skills, analytical skills, and organisational skills.
* Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and complex financial spreadsheets.
* Experience with material planning and contract management using an ERP system.
