Career Vision Recruiters are currently recruiting an ambitious and experienced Pastry Chef to join the team of a well-known hospitality establishment in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the pastry section. Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of product quality and service is achieved and presented to our guests.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Prepare and serve desserts under the direction of The Head Chef with consistently meticulous attention to detail, showing a passion for presentation using top quality ingredients.
2. Be responsible for the design and presentation of the dessert’s menu.
3. Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to exceptionally high standards.
4. Support the kitchen teams in ensuring excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service.
5. Follow and adhere to HACCP compliance with the kitchen.
6. Support team members to ensure the kitchen always exceeds guest expectations by consistently producing quality food.
Requirements for the position include:
1. Previous 2 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef in a similar environment.
2. Good organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment serving dishes to the highest of standards.
3. Full knowledge of HACCP.
4. Flexibility regarding working hours.
5. Good standard and comprehension of English.
6. Full working rights in Ireland.
