The CS EU EUV UIR team performs Upgrades, Installs and Relocations in Europe for our EUV customers.
This CS EUV UIR team has recently moved to Europe from CS EUV Central to support our EUV Europe customer at our best. From history we mainly have engineering and generalist roles, so now we are setting up the full organization.
This Material Handler role will be part of the local engineering team for synergy. As a team with very experienced and highly motivated engineers, we are making a start in this new organization and aiming for success.
Role and responsibilities
Within ASML the CS EU UIR department is responsible for the installation of EUV products at customer locations in Europe.
The Material Handler ensures material and tool readiness + delivery to the System Install Engineers (SIE) in the System Working Area (SWA).
Your role is to support the installation and upgrade of leading-edge lithographic systems, at the customer site, within specification, on time, with quality exceeding the customer’s expectations.
Deliverables:
* Physically move materials, using the appropriate/described transportation method(s), within the clean room and support the movement of material from Laydown Area (LDA) to the SWA.
* Maintain thorough material administration of move in/ out parts, making sure material is where it needs to be at the required time (manage and track movement of material).
* Maintain a clean and organized work area with an optimized workflow and overview to support daily UIR operation.
* Training & coaching fellow MRs.
* Support UIR Disturbance Review Board (DRB).
* Identify, initiate and drive improvements.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the required tools and materials are available at the right time, based on the daily plan and actual status of the installation, at the machine (SWA).
* Return materials, tools and packaging material to ASML or to the customer warehouse.
* Manage the storage of materials, ensuring material won’t get lost and by keeping the work area clean + organized.
* Check tools and materials for deviations in their SERV/12NC number, quality and cleanliness. Take action to get deviations resolved.
* Solve wrong deliveries and wrong material delivery issues.
* Reporting defects, missing or wrong parts and tools, take corrective and preventive action.
* Work with the EF/ CS install project team to ensure tooling preventive maintenance and calibrations are up to date and scheduled with regards to installation planning.
* Administrative processing of transactions such as maintaining the build-in/ build-out list in order to maintain a correct configuration of the installed machine in SAP.
* Ordering of material and assisting the delivery of spare parts and special tooling during escalations.
* Work with Install Team and local Logistics team to process material notifications for DOA’s.
* Identify, initiate and drive improvements to reduce Install Costs & Cycle Time and/or improve Safety & Quality.
* Highly proficient in SAP, MS Excel, Office and various database software programs.
Education and experience
* Bachelor degree is preferred but not mandatory.
* Experience in semiconductor field or logistics technician is preferred but not mandatory.
* Knowledge of logistic process, service order process, SAP and Plan on is plus.

Other information
Travel is estimated up to 60%. With the organization in transition, this percentage is an estimation and can be revisited in mutual agreement.
Main locations for travel are currently Belgium, potentially Israel and Germany, and other sites worldwide. Ability to get proper visa is required.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
