Position Overview
This is an exciting Automation Engineering role. The successful candidate will be based in the Galway office (flexible working available) and will work directly with our Infrastructure Engineering team in the USA.
Duties:
1. Assists with the development of a private cloud environment.
2. Design, engineer, and implement fully automated infrastructure services from provisioning to full lifecycle management.
3. Install, configure, and support multiple development platforms to include the Aria suite of products & CloudBolt.
4. Manage and configure integrations of the Aria suite of products, CloudBolt and Ansible.
5. Solid understanding of AWS, RedHat Open Shift, MS Hyper-V and VMWare.
Skills:
1. Software development with broad experience with common programming languages.
2. DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code principles including automated deployments of infrastructure and experience with tools like Ansible and Terraform.
3. Strong understanding of VMware platform and products.
4. Disciplined software development practices including version control and branching strategies.
5. Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
6. Understanding of multiple hypervisors and public cloud offerings.
7. Familiarity with Agile processes and methodologies including Scrum.
