HR Administrator (fixed term contract - 6 months, full time)

Working hours: 37 hours per week 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Position Summary:
Vision Ireland are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Administrator with a focus on recruitment to join our team on a fixed term, full time contract for 6 months. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent while supporting other HR functions to ensure a smooth and efficient human resource operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a growing and innovative charity organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment
1. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
2. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent for various roles within the organisation.
3. Maintain and update job descriptions and specifications for all positions.
5. Post job advertisements on various platforms, ensuring consistency with the organisation's branding and monitoring applications and closing dates.
6. Utilise recruitment software and tools to track and manage candidates effectively.
General HR Responsibilities
8. Support employee onboarding, orientation, and training initiatives.
9. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
13. Support HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, or diversity and inclusion efforts.
14. Prepare regular recruitment and HR reports for management
15. Carry out general HR administrative duties including updating employee information, producing reports, monitoring email inboxes, responding to general queries.

Key Skills and Competencies
Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment, with experience in a not for profit organisation an advantage.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve recruitment challenges creatively and efficiently.
Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and time management to handle multiple roles and deadlines.
Confidentiality: Maintains a high level of discretion with sensitive information.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and MS Office Suite.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience in recruitment and generalist HR roles.
3. Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in Ireland.
4. Experience working in a fast-paced environment
