Job Purpose: The Operations Data Analyst at Valeo Foods Ireland will play a key role in optimizing operational efficiency by analysing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance Operational performance, reduce costs, and improve decision-making through data-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting:Collect, clean, and analyse operational data related to production, logistics, inventory, and supply chain performance.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor operational efficiency.Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement using statistical analysis and data visualization tools.Generation of Daily, weekly, monthly reports on all Key Manufacturing targets.Process Optimization:Collaborate with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-backed solutions.Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights on production scheduling, waste reduction, and cost-saving opportunities.Assist in forecasting demand, inventory levels, and resource allocation to optimize operations.Generation of weekly costs & spend reporting along with streamlining our weekly purchase ordering process, working closely with all departments.Assisting in the weekly, monthly labour planning, execution & monitoring process and using data to continuously improve our processes.Systems & Tools Management:Utilize ERP (e.g., IFS, SAP, Oracle), BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and advanced Excel to extract and interpret data.Ensure data integrity and accuracy across operational systems.Recommend and implement automation solutions to streamline data collection and reporting processes.Extracting key data from FMES systems such as Factbird & MiMo and creating automatic daily reports on opportunities & performance.Stakeholder Collaboration:Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable manner.Work closely with IT and finance teams to align operational data with business objectives.Support ad-hoc data requests from various departments to drive informed decision-making.Qualifications & Experience: Education:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.Experience: 2+ years in a data analysis role, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG.Technical Skills:Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems such as IFS.Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and SQL for data querying.Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modelling is a plus.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
