Overview
Konica Minolta has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Director of Wide Format in the East Region! This position will drive sales while supporting the Direct Sales Channel's Production Print classification of products, mainly focused on Wide Format and associated solutions/accessories along with select Packaging offerings. This role will be responsible for increasing KMBS’ footprint in the UV InkJet Wide Format market and penetrating the Top 350 Industrial Print accounts selling AccurioWide equipment.
Responsibilities
1. Develop go-to-market business plans for the overall region and each market supported.
2. Create a uniform sales process for AccurioWide equipment & solutions for field sales reps & specialists.
3. Identify key applications that fit inside our Production Print portfolio.
4. Articulate the total cost of ownership advantages with our AccurioWide products.
5. Assist in customer/prospect strategy, relationships, proposals, demonstrations and partnerships.
6. Train our Production Print Specialists on the Konica Minolta AccurioWide portfolio.
7. Collaborate with Direct & Industrial Print teams in developing pipelines, activity and forecasting for AccurioWide.
8. Establish high level customer and prospect relationships.
9. Assess the sales skills of our Commercial Print Specialists in supported markets and create a customized training path along with Direct Sales management to improve skill sets and develop our people.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and work processes throughout the selling process.
11. Drive company objectives of profitable Production Print hardware, sales and service revenues.
12. Emphasize customer retention and growth along with strategic initiatives of systemically connecting more production/industrial/multifunction print hardware and solutions.
Qualifications
1. 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience.
2. 10 years’ sales experience in the industrial & production print (IPP) industry, focusing on Wide Format, Large Format, or Grand Format equipment.
3. Documented history of meeting and exceeding quotas.
4. Strategic product and prospect knowledge of Wide Format & InkJet equipment/solutions in the market.
5. Current on industry trends, challenges, competitive landscape, and market conditions.
6. Strong knowledge of competitive strategy, equipment, applications, and solutions.
7. Strong presentation and communications skills.
8. Must possess time management and organizational discipline.
9. Mac and software knowledge required.
