Role Title: Responsible AI Child Safety Specialist

Job Overview:
Our client, a leading Tech Company in The Silicondocks, is looking for a Responsible AI Child Safety Specialist to join their team on a 5-month contract (via Coyle Consulting). This person will take the lead in implementing child safety testing for GenAI products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead pre- and post-launch testing of GenAI products and features for child safety risks, ensuring compliance with relevant child safety standards.
* Define and implement child safety testing protocols, including prompt generation strategies, red teaming, and standard evaluations.
* Collaborate with product teams and Trust & Safety (T&S) experts to identify potential child safety risks and to develop mitigation strategies.
* Conduct detailed analysis of testing results and provide actionable insights to product teams for risk reduction.
* Troubleshoot policy and access-related queries, providing clear and timely solutions.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Partner with cross-functional teams to assess child safety requirements for product launches.
* Develop and execute testing protocols to identify and address child safety risks in AI systems.
* Analyse testing data, providing both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform risk mitigation efforts.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
* At least 2 years of experience in operations management related to child safety, content moderation, AI testing, or risk management.
* Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships across teams.
* Ability to handle sensitive and potentially offensive content in line with policies.
* Comfort with reviewing graphic, controversial, or violative content as part of your role.
Non-Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Expert knowledge of child safety, Trust & Safety, and content analysis.
* Familiarity with AI systems and machine learning technologies, with an understanding of the risks involved.
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
