We are recruiting for a challenging opportunity with a leading Pharmaceutical organization in Cork.
Duties
* Ensure the successful execution of operational plans to achieve optimal productivity and reliability.
* Lead a team to guarantee that all testing is completed on time, first-time-right, and meets required specifications.
* Optimize and report key performance indicators, including quality, safety, productivity, and on-time delivery.
* Prioritize excellent customer service, identifying and implementing continuous improvements in efficiency and service.
* Assume people management responsibilities, encompassing coaching, motivation, recognition, attendance management, training oversight, performance management, development planning, and cultivating a positive team culture.
* Maintain open communication channels with the team, fostering a culture of transparency and feedback.
* Carry out testing in accordance with valid testing procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
* Notify relevant stakeholders and document results and investigations for any atypical or aberrant findings.
* Lead laboratory investigations and deviations as required.
Education & Experience
* A Science graduate degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or equivalent education/accreditation, accompanied by experience in analytical testing, preferably within a pharmaceutical environment.
