Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to support the delivery of our HR and Business Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Human Resources function, including recruitment and selection, training and development, absence management, performance management, and grievance and disciplinary procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide HR support to employees and managers on various HR-related matters
2. Support the development and implementation of the HR strategy aligned with the business strategy
3. Maintain professional standards in all HR activities and promote best practice
4. Advise on HR issues and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
5. Manage the recruitment and onboarding process
6. Operate as a trusted people advisor and coach on employment law, training, and development
7. Liaise with line managers and support Performance and Talent Management Processes
8. Support payroll processes, if required
9. Coordinate learning and development throughout the company
10. Manage HR reporting and address any issues arising from reports
11. Ensure employee files and records are updated and compliant with legislation
12. Coordinate global engagement surveys and actions arising
13. Support line managers in dealing with grievances and disciplinary issues
14. Work with Risk and Compliance teams on regulatory matters
15. Perform other duties relevant to the role as may be required
Requirements
* Degree in Human Resources or related field
* CIPD Certified
* Excellent knowledge of current IE legislation
* Experience in recruitment, talent management, succession planning, and development programs
* Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
* Knowledge of HR systems and databases; experience with Workday desirable
* Ability to architect strategy and lead
* Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Competence to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels

This role is subject to the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) Individual Accountability Framework (IAF) and Fitness and Probity Standards (Standards).
