Job Summary
Red Hat Engineering is seeking a Manager to lead the CoreOS team, focusing on RHEL CoreOS and Fedora CoreOS container-optimized operating systems. As a Manager, you will develop and lead global technical teams in delivering high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute work aligned with engineering strategy, including design, development, testing, and resource utilization.
* Monitor and assess operations, quality, and team health using data-driven insights.
* Ensure efficient use of resources and troubleshoot potential issues within the team.
* Develop accurate estimates for team completion times.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in software development, quality assurance, or a related field.
* Experience with software development practices, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD).
* Proficiency in quality concepts, such as functional testing, unit testing, and integration testing.
* Working knowledge of Agile or other software development methodologies.
* Demonstrated technical skills to manage technical teams effectively.
* Proven experience mentoring technical team members.
