New Product Development Project Manager
Location: Stryker R&D Innovation Centre, Cork

NPD Project Managers have accountability and authority for achieving a project’s objectives. They direct a multi-disciplinary team aiming to complete a project.

What you will do:
1. Lead the team in the development of the project charter and management plan. Direct, manage, monitor, and control project. Evaluate tradeoffs within project.
2. Meet with project stakeholders to understand and refine project scope; review with manager for approval.
3. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
4. Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart.
5. Analyze critical path and major workstreams.
6. Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish sub-project budget.
7. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
8. Partner with project team to create project Quality Plans using 1-2 quality planning tools and techniques. Monitor and maintain plans.
9. Develop a risk management plan for the project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks, develop and monitor a risk response plan.
10. Contribute in the development of a Procurement Management Plan and collaborate on the selection of procurement partners
11. Estimate, acquire and assign project team resources.
12. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member.Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews.
13. Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations.
14. Develop and Execute the communications management plan for project team and the needs of key stakeholders

What you will need:
25. Bachelors Degree, technical preferred
26. 4+ years of experience
Preferred Skills / Engineering tools:
27. PMP or equivalent preferred
