The Role
This part-time position involves supporting our daily projects as an evening steward. The role requires 18 hours of work per week from Monday to Thursday, with working hours depending on events.
Responsibilities
* Respond and action planned reactive building repairs and respond to queries from staff and visitors.
* Supporting events, meeting room arrangements, and removal of discarded materials.
* Maintain basic facilities such as water and heating in good condition.
* Monitor and escalate mechanical and electrical issues that may arise.
* Office and churn management, relocation of furniture, meeting, and event room set-ups.
* Take ownership of tasks and ensure they are completed within timeframes, meet high standards, and achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
* Respond to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise, including fire alarms.
* Meet and greet visitors at reception and direct them accordingly.
* Point of contact for client-related queries, directing to relevant personnel for attention.
Requirements
* Experience in front-of-house reception roles.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
* A high standard of personal presentation is required.
