Procurement Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative and dynamic team that works closely with our business customers and Technology Partners.
The successful candidate will be supporting our goal of maximising value from the bank's total spend whilst also protecting against supplier risk
Key Responsibilities
* Support the BOI Procurement team on any sourcing activities
* Undertake and/or manage Category Management or Sourcing projects, activities or workload that for any reason (e.g. conflict of interest, confidentiality) cannot be undertaken by the Outsource Partner
* Support the Head of Business Partner Management to deliver any non-standard activities i.e. those that fall outside of the remit of the Outsource Partner or the roles of other members of the Business Partner Team
* Approval of proposals, purchase requests checking vs contract), RFS etc.. Tracking status of RFIs, RFPs versus expected project timescales
* Work with Outsourcing provider to identify and report on savings
Requirements
* You have worked in a similar position with broad experience of procurement lifecycle including category management.
* You have a deep understanding of procurement, supplier management processes and external standard methodology and key benchmarks in relation to same.
* You have project and programme management experience in sourcing projects.
* You are an excellent influencer at any stakeholder level and are highly dedicated to continuous improvement.
* You have brilliant organisational skills, detail oriented and a passion for problem solving with a good attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
* A professional qualification in Procurement e.g., CPSM, CIPs, IIPMM
About the Team
Our Group Procurement & Partner Management team is a Bank of Ireland Group-wide function that provides Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Partner Relationship Management, Supplier Risk Management & Governance and Procurement Services & Transformation.
Location
This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Baggot Plaza, 27-33 Upper Baggot St Dublin.
