In this role as the Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Infrastructure Team (currently 4). You will be responsible for ensuring that the group’s infrastructure, including Data Centres, Azure, Servers, Networks, Storage, Microsoft 365, and related systems, are robust, resilient, and high-performing to meet the evolving needs of the business. You will work closely with the Security and ERP teams to ensure the infrastructure operates reliably and securely.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Support the migration of standalone O365 tenants to the Group O365 tenant.
2. Advise on Infrastructure requirements for the restructuring of the UK & Ireland manufacturing footprint, including building out new manufacturing facilities.
3. Deliver Infrastructure projects in alignment with Group and IT Strategy.
4. Manage and guide the Infrastructure team, ensuring robust Change and Incident management processes are followed.
5. Oversee escalated infrastructure tickets to ensure prompt resolution.
6. Apply a security-first approach to all systems, working closely and collaboratively with the Group Security function to ensure that all systems and changes maintain security as a priority.
7. Work with the IT teams to ensure the BAU change handover process is followed for any new systems delivered.
8. Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to manage and meet all KPIs, including system availability uptime, regular maintenance schedules, and resolution of support tickets.
9. Work with the ERP and Infrastructure teams to create, manage, and maintain SLAs, including response times for incidents, server availability, and application support.
Your Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar Infrastructure management role.
* Strong knowledge in cyber security and operations, including EDR, SIEM, Patching, E-mail security, Web proxies, and Firewalls.
* Proven experience in managing both on-premise data centres and Azure workloads.
* Experience managing NOC/SOC and security and network monitoring tools.
* Ability to manage KPIs and SLAs effectively.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Proven ability to create strategic roadmaps and deliver projects on time and within budget.
