We are seeking a highly motivated and technical IT Specialist to join our IT Store & Customer team. The successful candidate will be responsible for store and retail systems used in over 220 stores across the island of Ireland, identifying and implementing technical solutions to optimise business processes and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage POS systems and customer-facing solutions in our stores
* Coordinate new store openings and store modernisations to deliver the latest technology standards
* Identify and implement efficiencies to business processes using technical solutions
* Provide comprehensive technical support for store and retail systems
* Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, including root cause analysis and testing of proposed fixes
* Consult with business departments on introducing new technologies and processes
* Act as technical lead for cross-departmental projects and ensure IT policies and standards are adhered to
* Manage relationships with selected vendors to ensure service delivery meets expectations
Requirements:
* Degree in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering, or minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role with client-facing experience
* Proficient in Windows Operating Systems (Client/Server)
* Basic network knowledge
* Courageous problem-solver with excellent critical thinking skills
* Understanding of KPIs and SLAs with proven ability to adhere to them
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Experience of working in or leading a project team
What You'll Receive:
* Salary: €49,500 rising to €63,000 after 3 years
