Senior Payroll Specialist
Dublin Hybrid
50-55k p/Annum
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to enhance payroll processes while collaborating with HR and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will:
* Process payroll for employees, pensioners, and partners in Ireland, and the UK ensuring compliance with statutory entitlements, benefits in kind (BIK), and deductions.
* Oversee employee benefits administration, including Tax Saver, Bike to Work, pensions, and health insurance.
* Manage payroll reconciliations, statutory payments, compensation adjustments, audits, and financial reporting.
* Implement legislative payroll changes, optimise systems, and maintain policies.
* Act as the primary payroll contact, handling queries and preparing reports such as tax submissions and gender pay gap analysis.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years' payroll experience, ideally in a senior role.
* A recognised payroll qualification (e.g., IPASS or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of Irish payroll regulations, taxation, and employment law.
* Proficiency in Excel and payroll software (Access Payroll experience preferred).
* Proven success in system improvements and process optimisation.
* Excellent accuracy, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
