Job Description: Registered Manager
The Registered Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring the service operates in compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality care and support.
About the Job:
* Lead the service to meet RQIA standards and regulations
* Maintain quality assurance and participate in RQIA inspections
* Provide strong leadership and effective communication
* Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance appraisals
* Implement safeguarding protocols and respond to concerns
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure service aligns with the Statement of Purpose
* Coordinate care plans, risk assessments, and admissions
* Promote co-production and engage with service users and families
* Manage service budget and report on expenditures
* Monitor financial transactions for service users and ensure compliance
Requirements:
* A professional Social Work qualification and full registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC)
* A first-level registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
* An allied health professional registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, with a minimum of four years experience in health or social care, including at least two years in a relevant operational management role
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults Management) and eligible for registration, with a minimum of five years practice experience, including at least three years in a relevant operational management role
About Us:
The service provides 24-hour care for adults with learning disabilities, with or without physical disabilities. It offers both permanent beds and respite provision, all of which are registered and regulated by the relevant regulatory body.
