My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
A good working knowledge of Excel is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Responsibilities:
* Identifying, listing and posting Debtor receipts. Clearing customer on stop list and informing the credit controller.
* System receipts & payments matching.
* Dealing with other issues arising throughout the day.
Monthly Responsibilities:
* Creditor Reconciliation - Preparation of list of supplier payments for approval.
* Maintenance of management account spreadsheets.
Quarterly Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
Annual Responsibilities:
* Liaison with the Auditors.
The Person
Key Skills:
* Part Qualified Accountant or IATI Qualified would be an advantage.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Good working knowledge of Excel.
