Job Title: Civil Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in the Mid-West region.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Supervision: Oversee site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
* Tech Drawing Review: Interpret and review technical drawings, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
* Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections, setting out works, and ensuring quality control.
* Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, report on milestones, and address any technical challenges.
* HSE Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed.
* Budget Control: Assist in managing project budgets and controlling costs.
* Reporting: Prepare reports, technical documentation, and method statements as required.
Requirements:
* Civil Engineering Degree: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering, ideally in infrastructure, utilities, or groundworks projects.
* Engineering Knowledge: Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
* Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, etc.).
* Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
* Communication: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Driving License: A full, clean driving license is essential.
