Job Title: Test Engineering Technician Position Overview: This is a hands-on position that requires a broad understanding of the test equipment and processes.
Manufacturing equipment support responsibilities will include set up, maintenance and troubleshooting of the automated equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Test support may include daily equipment setup, new product test, planned maintenance and unplanned equipment troubleshooting, as well as assisting with identifying, responding to, and disposition of non-conforming material.The test technician will work with manufacturing personnel, other technicians, and design engineers to follow project plans, execute material testing and equipment maintenance, and collection of data for analysis.Initiate test process improvements maintenance such as cleaning of machines/sensors.Assisting with qualification of new test processes and equipment.Running test sequences on new and existing equipment.Optimization of test parameters.Helping run or setting up for engineering build request or assisting with coordinating the build.Collection of data, documentation of procedures (updating procedures/Routes), and training of operators are also important parts of this role.Key Competencies & Skills required: Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.Read, interpret, troubleshoot from test specifications and mechanical drawings.Ability to work well with others from all disciplines of the Company is expected.Able to work and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.Qualifications and Experience: 5 years of relative experience required.The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of test electronics, with a strong aptitude and interest in working with automated and manual test equipment as well as the communication skills required to work with engineering.Associate's degree in Electronics is an advantage.
