Job Description:
The Delicatessen Manager will oversee the daily operations of the delicatessen counter and kitchen, preparing a range of food products. The role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage staff and maintain high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily running of the delicatessen counter and kitchen
* Prepare breakfast, lunch, evening meals, and chilled products
* Provide exceptional customer service to meet sales targets
* Lead and motivate a team in a busy environment
* Maintain high standards of quality and hygiene
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years of deli management experience
* Experience working in a teamwork-based environment with a passion for cooking and preparation
* Excellent communication, customer service, organisation, and time management skills
* HACCP training and additional culinary qualifications are beneficial
* Presentation, professionalism, and friendliness are essential
* Flexibility to work 45 hours per week over five days on rotation
