Software Embedded Engineer, Nitro SW Team
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
The Nitro firmware team, part of Annapurna Labs, is positioned in the very heart of the AWS technology engine. We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join us in building the next generation of our products.
Key Job Responsibilities
You'll have the opportunity to work on the technologies that power the world's largest cloud provider, in a dynamic, open, fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll develop, design, maintain, deploy, monitor, and support a very important component in the Nitro firmware, while enjoying every step of the journey.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of experience with embedded software development
2. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Science or equivalent
3. Fluent in C
4. Experience with HW/SW interfaces at both the board and chip level
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Deep understanding of computer architecture
2. Experience with SoC development life cycle
3. Experience working in Linux environments
