Communications Project Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communications Project Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing awareness of our organisation, as well as awareness of children's rights.

Our client is a human rights institution that promotes the rights and welfare of young people under 18 years of age living in Ireland. We deal with complaints made by or for children and young people and promote the rights and welfare of children and young people under 18 living in Ireland.
About the Role
The Communications Project Officer will work on specific communications projects with a focus on growing awareness of our organisation nationally. This includes:
* Working on the School Ambassadors Programme
* Supporting Child Talks and other events and launches
* Planning presence at BT Young Scientist and other national events
* Content creation and editing with support from line manager
* Monitoring news and current affairs programmes and providing news updates and summaries
* Supporting the Communications teams with administration tasks
* Coordinating with suppliers on merchandise and event management
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification of at least a Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Journalism, Multi Media/Communications or related discipline, project management or administration
* At least 2 years relevant experience of working in this area
* Experience of using and updating social media platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook
