We are hiring Cardiac Physiologist into our Hospital in Galway, Ireland.
Responsibilities ECGs: recording, interpreting, and emphasising anomalous results.
Holter monitoring is available around-the-clock, including patient hookup and technical downloading, analysis, and interpretation.
Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring for 24 hours: patient connection and analysis.
Event recording: hooking up and analysing patients.
Exercise Stress Test: Interpretation and Patient Hookup Reporting and emphasising any abnormal findings after the surgery or examination Regular maintenance and calibration of all equipment, including sterilisation when required Taking notes and analysing requisition forms involvement in patient care, such as preparing and comforting the patient Maintaining patient databases and records accurately Requirements ASCT and MPPM or MSCT (or equivalent) 2 years post qualification experience Appropriate clinical skills Flexible approach to work patterns.
Excellent interpersonal, accountability and communication skills BSc in Clinical Measurement from DIT or equivalent by the IICMP or Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from DIT or equivalent by the IICMP will perform, conduct and support the following range of cardiac investigations in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures: • Resting 12 lead ECG, interpretation and analysis • Fit and analysis of ambulatory ECG BP and event monitoring analysis • Physiologist led Exercise stress testing, interpretation, and reporting (supervised by an ACLS certified practitioner) • Echocardiography and reporting Assist in Tran oesophageal Echocardiography • Haemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation during invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures (supervised unless ACLS certified) • Cardiac rhythm device management (from implant support to follow up and programming) Benefits Top pay and great working conditions Immediate Start, Full time Permanent Great professional development opportunity Continued education and training.
