**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to play a key role in designing and implementing SAP Sales and Distribution solutions for global organisations.
In this role, you will analyse business requirements, develop SAP-enabled solutions, lead workshops, and ensure smooth system implementation.
You will collaborate with clients to map business processes, configure SAP SD functionalities, perform testing, and provide go-live support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analysing business requirements through conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analysing the information, and documenting an accurate understanding of their business requirements and mapping of those to SAP business processes.
* Providing estimates, impact analysis, and feasibility assessments for SAP-based solutions for customer requirements.
* Confidence and ability to make recommendations for the selection of appropriate SAP business processes to meet client requirements effectively.
* Developing process models based on business requirements to determine the completeness of the information and process components.
* Designing SAP-enabled solutions and functional specifications.
* Functionality Testing: Knowledge of and ability to use testing methodologies, processes, and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system, regression, and dry run testing.
* Designing and developing test plans (e.g., test objectives, test cases, test data, test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system, or acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
* Coordinating execution of project tasks in your functional area and being comfortable in working under the pressure of tight project deadlines.
* Leading workshops to understand business processes with the ability to articulate best/standard practice.
* Working closely with the Organisational Change Management (OCM) team and supporting the preparation and execution of training of SAP users.
* Planning and carrying out cut-over activities and go-live support.
* Supporting users after go-live of the system in a hypercar environment.
* Mentoring and guiding junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise in SAP implementation methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Requirements:
* A strong understanding of business processes in the sales and logistics area.
* SD process knowledge such as sales order process, advance payments, consignment process, sales to the group, deliveries, returns, billing, Intrastat reporting.
* Very good communication skills, good problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent configuration experience within the SAP SD module.
* Ideally, experience of at least 3 full lifecycle projects, and at least 5 years' SD experience.
* A strong background of Solution Design and Implementation.
* Expert knowledge of SAP S/4Hana.
* Basic knowledge of integrations with other SAP modules such as MM, WM/EWM, and FI-CO.
* Experience with both waterfall and Agile implementation methodologies.
* Experience working with offshore teams.
* Willingness to travel across Europe as required in the role.
