The ideal candidate will assist in managing the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence, maintaining smooth and efficient service.
Develop new menu items, seasonal dishes, and innovative specials while adhering to the overall culinary vision.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure efficient use of resources.
Train, mentor, and develop junior kitchen staff to maintain high performance and culinary standards.
Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end or luxury hotel/restaurant.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients, with a creative flair for menu development.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
