Fleet Maintenance Administrator About the Role: Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Maintenance Administrator to join a dynamic team and play a key role in keeping a fleet of vans operating smoothly across the country.
This role is all about minimizing vehicle downtime and ensuring efficient scheduling for planned and emergency maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
Youll work closely with our Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, driver teams, and key suppliers to keep things running seamlessly.
Working Hours: Flexible shifts across Monday to Sunday, working 4 days over 7.
Early (06:00 am - 4.00 pm) and late (12:30 pm - 10:30 pm) shifts alternate weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Provide daily support to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor and driver teams in managing fleet operations.
Coordinate with Operations and Fleet Maintenance teams to handle vehicle downtime, repairs, replacements, and service scheduling efficiently.
Assist in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time to minimize disruption.
Communicate with key suppliers and ensure that service requirements are met, building strong working relationships with all parties.
Guide the driver team regarding the preferred suppliers for maintenance and repairs.
Attend relevant product knowledge, compliance, and training sessions organized by the company.
Be flexible and ready to take on any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
What Were Looking For: A background in Transport or Logistics (2+ years preferred, but not essential).
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
Proven experience building strong relationships with suppliers and working effectively with teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Decision-making ability and a proactive approach to finding solutions, especially when working under pressure.
Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Flexibility and a positive attitude towards working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
