As a Health and Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment on our sites.

The RoleDevelop and enforce comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures to comply with legal standards and industry best practices.Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.Ensure all employee and sub-contractors training is relevant and up-to-date.Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all health and safety requirements are met and maintained.Coordinate emergency response planning and conduct regular emergency drills.Monitor and analyze health and safety performance metrics, proposing and implementing improvements where necessary.Manage the certification of lifting gear and other plant.PSCS and PSDP function when required.Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.The PersonYou should have a relevant health and safety qualification.Minimum 2-5 years relevant experience in a similar role with a proven track record in H&S management on construction sites.Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.Clear ability to use various packages such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, etc.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential hazards.You should be able to work alone and as part of a team effectively.
