Sustainability Consultant - About the role
Centigo Ireland is looking for individuals who have been working for two to twelve years at an acknowledged management consulting firm. You will have experience in identifying change or working in client-oriented IT and business projects, preferably in leading roles. You have a relevant academic degree and share our basic values and ambitions. The Sustainability Consultant will play a crucial role in managing projects, providing expert guidance to clients on sustainability challenges and approaches, and contributing to the development of methodologies and tools. The individual will be responsible for leading and coordinating sustainability projects and initiatives, collaborating with colleagues, and actively growing their career towards a consulting leadership role.
In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to drive positive change by helping clients navigate sustainability challenges and develop effective strategies. This role requires a motivated and forward-thinking professional who can contribute to the growth of the consulting practice while continuously developing their own consulting leadership capabilities.

The Irish team operates from offices in central Dublin, in combination with working from home and with our clients. You would be part of this team and an important contributor to forming the future of our Irish business.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of sustainability projects where you will provide expert advice and recommendations on best practices, strategies, and tactics in order to ensure successful execution from initiation to completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project outcomes and deliverables.
* Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' sustainability challenges and goals. Identify and evaluate sustainability risks and opportunities, proposing innovative solutions to address them.
* Collaborate with colleagues and Partner Organisations to develop and refine methodologies, frameworks, and tools for sustainability assessment, measurement, and reporting.
* Engage in thought leadership activities such as publishing articles, delivering presentations, and participating in conferences and industry events.
* Cultivate relationships with clients and stakeholders to identify potential business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts.
* Collaborate with senior leaders to shape the strategic direction of the sustainability consulting practice.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., sustainability, environmental science, business, engineering).
* Proven experience in sustainability consulting, project management, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of sustainability principles, frameworks, and best practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
* Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.
* Professional certifications or qualifications in sustainability or related disciplines are desirable.
* Solid professional management consulting background in Ireland or the UK.
* Strong professional network and established relationships.
* Passion for building and developing companies.
* An entrepreneurial spirit with an appetite for business.
* Used to and experienced in sales, both to new and existing clients.
