PMO Support Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled PMO Support Analyst to join our team on an initial contract of 12 months with potential to extend to 36 months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the PMO Portfolio, which consists of several large technical and business transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure teams adhere to PMO protocols, including the Project Life Cycle and Stage Gate approval processes.
* Manage projects, including preparation of project plans, resource allocation, cost tracking, maintenance of RAID logs, and reporting to key stakeholders.
* Maintain project details within various systems and aggregate data from multiple sources for comprehensive portfolio management reporting.
* Coordinate Microsoft Teams Meetings, including drafting agendas, facilitating discussions, capturing minutes, and updating action trackers.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience operating within a Project Management Office in a support capacity.
* A level 7 Degree qualification (or equivalent or higher) in Computers & IT, Engineering, Science or Business.
* Proven track record in managing projects and performing other PMO-regulated project management tasks.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain project details and aggregate data from multiple sources.
* Proficient in coordinating Microsoft Teams Meetings.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and display flexibility, curiosity, and a readiness to identify and implement improvements.
* Familiarity with portfolio and project management software is considered an advantage.
* Established expertise in financial tracking and exceptional administrative abilities.
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as MS Project and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Recognized project management qualification.
* Robust grasp of project management methodologies, particularly Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
* Exceptional organizational and planning skills, including the capacity to effectively prioritize tasks.
